Safety - Big Round Trampolines
Dont be ignorant - Read these points so that you can make an informed decision before you buy
a trampoline:
Trampolining can be dangerous. It can also be great fun and terrific for your fitness levels. We really want you to have nothing but good memories from using a trampoline and in order to ensure that we want to hit home a few points which if followed will certainly minimise the likelihood of an accident.
1. Do not site the trampoline on a hard surface such as concrete
2. Read and obey the safety manuals
3. Make sure that those unfamiliar with trampolines understand the rules.
4. Do not flip somersaults - most of the serious neck injuries are caused through doing somersaults
5. Do not overload the trampoline
- stick to the maximum weight limits
6. Make sure you check that the legs are sited correctly (someone could have moved the trampoline)
7. Supervise children. They are fearless and do not understand the ramifications of thier actions
